The Technician - Power Generation is responsible for providing reliable service solutions and preventative maintenance to power generation systems. Serves as liaison between sales and production/manufacturing, ensuring generators are modified, tested, and shipped according to customer requirements. Confirms equipment/systems meet or exceed all applicable standards and remain in ready-to-run condition.

The ideal candidate will:
. Assembles brackets, mounts, and supports onto power units and gensets.
. Prepares and installs hoses.
. Performs cleaning and painting of skids, brackets, mountings, and piping.
. Installs belts, lines, and other items as required.
. Performs all jobs neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
. Supports other business activities as required.
. Maintains a strong customer focus; works with both internal and external customers.
. Understands and adheres to all organizational health and safety policies and procedures and ensures the safety of self and others.
. A valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract are essential
. Journeyman in one or more of: electrical, heavy equipment, millwright or automotive or registered in a related apprenticeship program
. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Generator Service Technician
. Experience with different engine/generator makes and fuel sources (diesel, gas, natural gas)
